As a Supplier Quality Engineer at Cannondale, you connect our suppliers to the level of quality our riders expect on every ride. In this role, you help ensure frames, forks, and related components meet high standards from the factory floor through delivery. Your work strengthens product reliability, builds trust with our partners, and directly shapes the Cannondale rider experience. Come ride with us!
Note: This is not a remote position. This role is based on-site at Cannondale's Freiburg, Germany location.
How You'll Make an Impact:
Run supplier audits and turn findings into clear, practical actions
Partner closely with frame and fork suppliers to resolve quality issues, especially paint-related topics
Manage and investigate claims, identifying root causes and driving corrective actions
Work day-to-day with global quality partners across Asia to track progress and close open issues
Spend time on-site with suppliers and production to see problems firsthand and improve outcomes
Share weekly updates on quality performance and open actions with cross-functional teams
Build strong, direct relationships with suppliers to improve consistency and accountability
What You Bring to the Table:
2–4 years of experience in a supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or manufacturing engineering-related role
Understanding of carbon fiber layup, curing, NDT methods
Knowledge of metal forming, CNC machining, welding, heat treatment
Familiarity with wheel building, brake systems, suspension components
Ability to read technical drawings (GD&T)
MSA, SPC, Gage R&R
Knowledge of QMS (ISO 9001) and safety standards (ISO 4210)
Problem-solving mindset
Analytical and data-driven
Strong communication (supplier relationships are critical)
